Content Managed Website Design / Logo
The Brief -
Cornerstone were approached by Saddleworth Parish Council with a brief of creating an up to date website which appealed to the public, gained interest from tourists and the business community, whilst also being content managed by the council. A logo re-design was also requested in order to refresh the image further and provide better clarity on stationery and other literature.
The Pitch -
From three initial web concepts, and six proposed logo designs, Saddleworth Parish Council chose the concepts shown left, which were approved for development.
Delivery -
The logo for the Parish Council was developed over a two week period and soon rolled out across the area, being seen on local signage, printed materials, and online. The new website was developed over a two month period and launched successfully in May 2010.
Outcome -
Feedback regarding the new website has so far been extremely positive, with council members and the public both indicating that the new site has improved their image, and also their ability to communicate with the public.
