Kimwetu
Website Design & Development
The Brief -
Kimwetu briefed cornerstone to design and implement an online directory for their Kimwetu brand which gave the general public access to local businesses lisintgs around the UK. The site was to be database driven, with post code search functionality, a user managed blog and directory control panel which was to be managed by Kimwetu employees.
The Pitch -
Cornerstone developed the look and feel for the site, which was then approved for development with minor tweaks by the client. We also provided in depth documentation on how the site would operate and interact with the user to ensure the client was satisfied with the end result.
Delivery -
The site was progressed over a six month period with close consultation with Kimwetu to ensure the functionality and user experience was as they had anticipated. The site was then launched on a test server to ensure all criteria had been met, and then launched in June 2011.
Outcome -
The Kimwetu site is still in its infancy and aims to build a wider customer base over the coming months. The company aims to support the site with a B2B and B2C marketing strategy which will drive traffic and users to the site, and further enhance the offering the site currently has.
