Packaging Re-design & branding
The Brief -
Cornerstone were commissioned to reaserch and understand the current male styling market in order to identify any market opportunities, whilst also conducting an in depth analysis of the original head funk brand. Following this research, Cornerstone were to develop a brand plan, and present it to the client's board of directors.
The Pitch -
The brand plan was formed for Head Funk which included the re-branding and re-packaging of the head funk range. This was due to the original packaging not being clearly targeted at the male consumer. Therefore, new, more masculaine packaging was designed and implemented, along with a refreshed brand, which was to be known as Head Funk Extreme!
Delivery -
The new packaging design and branding
was carried out within a four week period and was launched in the UK in August 2011.
Outcome -
The newly titled Head Funk Extreme brand was taken on by both new & existing customers, and has since seen a sharp rise in sales and consumer loyalty. This has been acknowledged by the management team of Head Funk Extreme, and has been deemed a great success.
