The Brief - Gatehouse Media contacted Cornerstone in the winter of 2009 with a brief which was to develop a unique logo and book cover design for a brand new book called “Yes we can read”. The brand and cover design had to identify the target audience whilst having considerable shelf presence.

The Pitch - Cornerstone produced a number of logo and cover concepts which were pitched and discussed with the client, and further developed to the finished article which is shown above. It was felt that the chosen option met the brief of creating substantial shelf presence, whilst identifying with the target market in a way which would stimulate interest.

Delivery - Cornerstone and Gatehouse Media developed the finished article over a number of weeks to ensure all fine details had been covered. The files were then outputted in a number of formats which allowed the client to have the finished publication compiled and printed.

Outcome - Client feedback regarding the design work carried out was extremely positive following completion and delivery of the various branded elements. The book launch took place in April 2010, and has shown positive uplift since hitting the market.
