Saddleworth Brewery - Pump Clips
The Brief - Cornerstone met with Saddleworth Brewery in November 2007 to discuss their brew's pump clip designs. In the past, the brewery, like many others, had simply created their owns designs, printed them on the office printer, and laminated. The brewery wanted to create a high quality clip, but at a reasonable price.
The Pitch - Cornerstone spent around 25 man hours finding different solutions to this problem. The issue here evolved around price. Traditional methods of production were far too expensive, and so a tailored method was created, using specialist routed plastics, labels and printing processes. This was well liked by the client, and designs were approved ready for production.
Delivery - In total, 14 pump clip designs were produced for the brewery, with 5 of each unit produced ready for sending out to customers buying by the barrel.
Outcome - The new pump clip designs have gained considerable attention from the general public, and have been praised for their innovativeness and appeal when in place on a bar pump. The brewery were so pleased, that they have recommended Cornerstone to their suppliers, and associated breweries.
