IDS Plastics - Corporate Re-brand
The Brief - The brief was given to Cornerstone in January 2008. Basically, the company which has been running for fifteen years now wanted to freshen the brand image to help it compete with other businesses in the market. IDS also have two sister companies, Showcases online and Merlin Innovations. The colours of these two brands were also to be tied into the traditional red and blue that the IDS logo uses.
The Pitch - Cornerstone developed ten possible logo ideas which were felt to best represent the brand, and the message it was aiming to communicate.
Delivery - The chosen logo design was selected just after the pitch meeting, and was then transferred onto all the newly designed corporate literature and stationary. The brand has been developed over all platforms, and is now awaiting a new website, due to be launched in 2008.
Outcome - The company re-brand was well accepted both internally and externally. The company has gained positive feedback from a number of its clients, and is now looking at expanding the company even further through the use of product development and marketing.
